Bluntisham Village Hall car park will be out of action from Tuesday 24th August – Thursday 2nd September. The reason for the closure is to resurface the car park. The village hall will still be available to use as will the football and cricket pitches, play park, dog walk and recreation area. Please beware that there will be heavy machinery and some noise from 8am – 5pm on the working days. They will not be working weekends or the bank holiday.
Please be patient, this work is being done via a grant from the A14 so is not costing the parish or village hall a penny. The car park will be finished with black tarmac and white lines, so will be a huge improvement to all users of the hall.
The planings and aggregate from the village hall car park will be moved to the school car park and the same team will be levelling the school car park while recycling the materials. The school car park will be closed on Thursday 26 & Friday 27th August for this work to take place.
