I would like to introduce myself as the new Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Organiser for Earith Bluntisham and Colne.
The reason for my request is that not only am I new to the role but I’m afraid I’m starting very much from scratch. I’m really keen to raise awareness of the Appeal in this area and to recruit volunteers for the door-to-door collection in October/November and this is really where I could do with some help.
Unfortunately, I have no records of those who previously volunteered so I’m hoping to make contact both with those who have been involved before as well as those who might be interested in participating this year. Please contact me via email or Facebook if you are able to help.
