Bluntisham Parish Council are following government advice to ensure that all council facilities remain as safe as possible during this pandemic. The village hall closed its doors to members of the public in March 2020 and remains closed for adult activites. The playpark & outdoor gym closed in line with the guidelines and the lockdown in March and reopened when the guidelines changed. The latest lockdown allows the playwark to remain open. The parish council introduced a volunteer scheme to help those who are shielding and need to remain at home.
As guidelines are changed and restrictions are lifted the parish council will open up the facilities as and when they can do so safely. The village hall will open for parish council meetings from 2nd June due to the regulations having expired to hold meetings remotely. All attendees will be asked to book if they intend to attend a parish council meeting. A dedicated risk assessment for meetings is below, all attendees must familiarise themselves with the guidelines detailed on the RA.
