This Christmas the parish Council is organising something new – the Advent Adventure.
Advent Adventure will see a new advent window revealed each day around the village from 1-24th December. If you’d like to be involved, it’s really simple. You just need to decorate one window in your house that is easily visible to passers by. The window should be decorated with a Christmas theme (a Christmas Message or decorations etc.) and will need to remain either undecorated, or obscured until your allocated day, and should only be revealed on your given day, just like a traditional advent calendar.
Once revealed, you then need to leave the window decorated until at least Boxing Day. It doesn’t need to be constantly lit up or anything, but it should be visible and suitable for all ages!
